New flag pole for Chaseley Trust

Once again our Veterans swung in to action to help out at Chaseley Trust, a former military rehabilitation center, that wants to reconnect with the military community.

Many of our Veterans rolled up their sleeves to reinstate the fallen flag pole. Out with the sand paper, paint and brushes the flag pole was given a new lease of life and re-fitted into the ground with the union flag flying in the breeze for years to come.

Residents, staff and the Combat Stress assistance dog, Bella, with mum and dad Barry and Petra Coase looked on and encouraged them.

A new veteran was discovered in the guise of Harry Hayward, Harry works at Chaseley and was thrilled to be part of the team, he will be joining the lads for breakfast this week.

On parade were CO Graham Cosham, RE; 2i/c Allan Leith, Chairman; Eddie Braillard, Director of ops; Dave King, Press Agent; Steve Cox, Logistics and keeping them all in order was our steadfast Royal Engineer Mick Adams.

A great day was had by every one and Chaseley Trust were thrilled with the outcome.
